It’s The Orlons. Not The Rayons or The Nylons. The Orlons.
Is that a great name or what? Legend has it that it was a playful stab at another singing group at their high school known as The Cashmeres.
The group formed in 1960 and scored three gold records, “Wah-Wahtusi” being one of them.
I’d like to believe that this clip is from some heavenly variety show, but in reality some enterprising nerd edited a bunch of really great footage together and created heaven on Earth. I’ll take that.
