Let’s start the weekend with this “Shaft”-like funk version of Chervona Ruta, a classic Ukrainian folk song written in 1968.
The song tells the story of the chervona ruta, a yellow flower that, once a year, turns red for just a day. According to Ukrainian legend, the girl who finds this red flower on that day will be happy in love.
