We writers are used to describing things using sight and sound, but what of the other three senses? What of other “feelings” that aren’t properly senses but that inform how we build a mental map of the author’s world? In this week’s show, Sarah uses her recent missions trip to Jamaica to give us some useful tips on how we can use all our senses to tell a brilliant story.
Sarah also has a “side” show called Coffee Break! She interviews people she finds interesting and shares that conversation with us. The most recent show is an interview with former high school French teacher and professional basketball announcer and current Evangelical Lutheran Bishop Abraham Allende. They talk about calling and vocation and how you may be able to find yours if you haven’t already.
The Coffee Break isn’t quite a weekly show, but it’s worth your time whenever one pops up. Take a listen!
