I love this app. The News Maker app from Carpemobile.com is a simple photo app that adds “Breaking News” headlines to any picture of your choice. You can customize the headlines or choose a random, pre-programmed selection. They will even provide pictures for you if you don’t want to use your own.
The app costs .99 cents and it’s well worth the entertainment value. For a couple of giggles that’s not a bad price. I would not recommend it for children as some of the randomized headlines skew a bit “mature.”

When Kira isn't scaling the peaks of some of the toughest mountains in the world or exploring the Amazon rainforests she spends her time as a foster mom for her local animal shelter. Kira has volunteered for "Doctors without Borders" even though she isn't even a doctor or a nurse. Her mantra is "More speed, more height, more life..."
