It’s Friday!
I know nothing about this clip except that it’s groovy and it comes from the Greek film “Teddy Boy Agapi Mou.” In the five years I’ve been doing “Groovy Friday,” I’ve discovered that Greek films of the 60s are a great source of groovy clips.
I don’t know exactly what’s happening here because I don’t speak Greek, but I figure that the blonde woman in the white dress with black flowers is jealous of the blonde woman in the gray satin dress with rhinestones. Gray, satin dress blonde emerges triumphant when the crowd parts to allow her and her date to dance alone. A hoary film cliché. Seriously. Have you ever been at a dance club where everyone fell back to allow one couple to dance?
