Press Release: Phantom Sway 48 Hour Film Contest

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Phantom Sway Hosts First 48 Hour Film Contest at the Telluride Horror Show

Los Angeles, California-April 28, 2016-

P48200Indie media company Phantom Sway is hosting their inaugural 48 hour film challenge, open to all horror/dark comedy film makers 18 and older residing in the continental United States.

Film making teams register via PhantomSway.com. When the virtual starting gun goes off on June 24, 2016, participants will receive an email which contains one or two required elements that must be worked into the script – this might be a line of dialogue, prop, plot device, etc.  Then the games begin!

Teams will have 48 hours to script, cast, shoot, edit, and upload their 5-7 minute film. All work must take place within the designated 48 hour period to qualify. All films will then be judged by a panel of experts.

The winning film will be announced on August 1, 2016, and will be screened at the Telluride Horror Show  in Telluride, Colorado, which takes place October 14 – 16, 2016.

Two members of the winning team will receive round trip economy class airfare to Telluride, three nights lodging in a shared hotel room, free passes to attend the Telluride Horror Show film festival, and will be presented with a team trophy at the screening of their film.

Phantom Sway expects to discover the next innovative and terrifying horror master, and is honored to partner with the Telluride Horror Show.
