Sweater weather has officially commenced in the valley of the sun, and I could not be more elated! I have quite a few in my wardrobe that I’ve been patiently waiting to get into, including this vintage, crochet knit sweater. A couple of years ago, it belonged to my grandmother. When I questioned where she got it because I was so in love with it, she handed it over to me and allowed me to own it! Rolling up the sleeves and slightly tucking the back of it in creates a better fit on my slim build. A pair of jeans are the perfect item to wear with any type of sweater – leggings make a close second!

I bought these denim skinny’s from Burlington Coat Factory for $15.99. I find it hard to come across quality jeans that are priced under $20 unless I’m shopping at an actual thrift store, so I was pretty happy with this purchase. My second favorite piece in this look are these gorgeous BCBG shoes! $70 was the original price, but Ross sold them to me for $24.99. I’m a fan of all things casual, and love when I can still get away with it in a pair of comfy high heels. Oh! And for a cheaper price, of course.

As always, remember to shop smart, be creative, and, most importantly, stay true to you!
