It’s Friday!
Two clips this week that are somewhat related.
First, it’s the opening credits for “Girl in the Golden Boots.” Wikipedia, the unquestionable source of knowledge on the internet, says this about the film:
“Girl in Gold Boots is a 1968 crime/drama film about the seedy underworld of Go-Go dancing, directed by Ted V. Mikels, who also directed The Astro-Zombies.”
I think that’s all we need to know.

For more groovy women in gold footwear, we turn to our old friends at Pop Gear, the 1960s British music program. Like their US counterpart, “Hullabulloo” they featured live pop acts augmented by dancers.
The lesson this week? Sometimes a small troupe of dancing women is plenty groovy.
Have a groovy weekend!
