This is honestly a tough one for me, as there were some truly great records that came out over the last year from Queens Of The Stone Age, Nothing But Thieves, PVRIS, Foo Fighters, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Royal Blood, Death From Above 1979, Nothing More, You Me At Six, Papa Roach, among others.
However, if I had to narrow it down to one album that I’ve all but worn out, it would be, “All These Countless Nights” from the UK’s Deaf Havana. I’m a sucker for well crafted songs with great melodies and every song on the album delivers. Even their “Reworked” version of the album, on which they completely reimagine each song is just as solid IMHO. The band has been around for about a decade, but remain (criminally) relatively unknown. I would drop some highlight tracks, but it was hard enough to pick one album!
