This week, the gang take a long look at one of my favorite movies, the adventure with a little comedy Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins. Fred Ward is one of those actors who make every movie they’re in better. heck, there are a few of those actors in this movie, including Joel Gray, Wilford Brimley, and J.A. Preston. The Crag Safan soundtrack is also fantastic (the Remo Williams fanfare has been one of my ringtones for a couple of years). I’m interested to hear what the gang thinks of the movie.
But there’s more! The gang also sat down with Devin Murphy, the son of one of the authors of the books on which the movie was based. Murphy still publishes and edits the Destroyer series of books, of which there are more than 150. Yes, that number is correct. One-hundred fifty. Kind of makes you wonder why Hollywood hasn’t grabbed Remo Williams as one of their “franchise” movies. Listen in!
