This week, Sarah jumps into an interview that is surprisingly pertinent to my interests: comic book writing! I won’t lie; a couple of my recent story ideas would make very good graphic novels. Problem is, I know nothing of the process that gets a graphic novel on the shelves or the web page or otherwise in front of eager readers. Sarah’s guest Kenny Porter is a comic book writer who published his own story about World War I #barnstormers who hunt giant monsters. Yes, you read that correctly. Yes, I’ll wait while you go buy his comic right away.
Are you back? Okay. Good. Where was I. Oh, right. I’m pretty sure Kenny knows how to get that idea you may have from your brain and into the pages of your own comic book. Even if comics aren’t your bag, he has some expertise you’ll find handy. Better listen in!
