  1. “Ghost traps? Check. Monster repellant? Check. Imp bait? Check. I think we’re ready.”
    Tedward Bear looked over to his faithful friend Daryl Duckie.
    ‘How much time tonight?”
    “Seven hours until sunrise”, Daryl replied. The glow of the nightlight reflected serenely off his smooth, rubber back.
    Tedward adjusted his mask and looked thoughtfully around the room, then back to little Katie who was sleeping peacefully in her crib. Here was their charge, their best friend, their purpose. She would never know the things that go bump in the night, or the steadfast loyalty of the heroes who kept it that way.
