  1. In the dark, misty depths of the Dying Forest, something stirred. It rose, inexorably earth fell from it like a man throwing off a cloak. Millenia had passed since last it saw the light of day, and it would feed on the souls of man.

    Once feared, it was the stuff of fables, whispered to children by parents trying to keep them obedient.
    It stomped through the forest, sucking up the life around it, trailing death. It sniffed the air, caught wind of it’s succulent prey. There were people near. It worked it’s stiff jaws loose, preparing for the feast.
