Here’s your prompt. It’s not particularly fertile, for plant life or story seeds, is it? So how did this ship end up here? Was this a lake that dried up over long years? Was the trip here sudden and unexpected? Or sudden and completely expected?

My best friend was a stubborn old goat.
If I told him once, I told him a hundred times, “Djenga, you’re going to need a bigger boat!”
He would reply, “You and I have been watching boats of many sizes sail by since we were boys. They always come back. What marvellous sights they must behold on their journeys. Why shouldn’t I follow?”
Well, he finally had saved enough shekels to buy a small sail and some provisions and away he went, smiling from ear to ear.
He never returned.
Oh Djenga, did you find what you were looking for?
