F-18 Hornet or F-16 Eagle?
Interesting that we name our weapons after ruthless predators from the animal kingdom. Never had a run in with an eagle but I did get stung by a hornet once.
Mowing grass in a tree nursery in the middle of Summer, it was hot, humid with a perpetual cloud of black fly’s taking turns bouncing off my forehead. Then, this little bugger stung me in the leg, right through my jeans. One of those delightful memories that last a lifetime.
All at the impressive wage of $2.25/hr.
I wonder what military pilots make these days…
