Here’s the prompt! It may seem like I’ve boxed you into a certain story, but you know as well as I do that’s not the case, yes? This prompt may point you to an obvious path but you are not obliged to follow it. And so you should not! Where’s the fun in taking the obvious route? Sounds pretty Grimm…err…grim…to me.

Eliza was still nervous around the old woman, so she let her brother handle the negotiation. “What do you want this time,” he asked. Pointing to her throat, she rasped in her high pitched voice, “Medicine dearie, for my cold.” He agreed and charged her the same price as usual in return, a ride for both of them on her dragon.
Gaston was a purebred Grand Dragon. The woman had found him, lost and starving , as a pup and saved his life. They had been companions, living high in the hills, ever since. She nodded, smiling. He would enjoy the company.
