Here is the prompt — the last one of 2019! Now, this may look like a basic gift exchange to you, and for all we know it might just be! But entertain the possibility, just for a moment, that there is more afoot here. A blossoming romance, maybe? Or one ending. An exchange of espionage materials or something equally secretive?
Only you can tell us! Give us your best story or exactly 100 words, right here in the comments or at your own web site with a link back to us, please! We’d love to read your tale.
We also would like to thank you for sharing these prompts with us throughout the years and, indeed, throughout last years as well. You have shared some pretty cool stories with us since we started this little venture in cooperative storytelling and we’ve enjoyed your company. Unfortunately, though, this will be not only the last Fiction Friday prompt of the year but also the last one here at Phantom Sway. Two years is a pretty good run for anything, as internet time reckons, and what we’ve done here has been quite good indeed. Let’s make one last run as some fantastic stories and part from this place as friends and fans. Thank you. Happy New Year. And never forget that you are indeed writers!
